WINTER IS COMING, CRAZY DISCOUNTS & TSUNAMI! TFN

As temperatures in our little mountain town drop this weekend we’re reminded of the rapidly approaching holiday season. There is just something about the cool air of winter flowing into the HQ, alleviating the often hot and humid environment, and warning, “Christmas is right around the corner.” Although roads everywhere in the region are still damaged from the hurricane, there is a sense of normalcy that has slowly grown in the recent weeks. Besides a drive to and from work that has more than doubled for Boss Man, Coy due to road damage things are finally returning to how they were, and not a moment too soon.

With some intentional time allocated early in the month to feeling out our holiday deals and promotions, we have some insane stuff coming down the pipe. From Pre-Black Friday, through the Thanksgiving Holiday, and into Cyber Monday there will be plenty of great discounts and packages available to stock up on a winter’s worth of materials at a sharp deal. Although discounting products limits our margin on an otherwise very fairly priced product, we relish the chance to get our materials out to as many skilled crafts-people as possible, and we hope you’ll take this chance to “have one on us” and get that layout you’ve been looking at! The deals will begin to roll out with our pre-Black Friday sale early next week, so stay tuned!

At the start of the week we received another very special package from our friend, Sarah at SoulBound leather. Two new Blacksmith’s aprons to complete our set, equipping our hardworking staff with only the very best quality tools to do what they do best. We have long-since worked with Sarah and SoulBound and wholeheartedly recommend her work to anyone seeking the very best in leathergoods and forging attire. Check out Shop Manager, Jay Baker sporting one of the new aprons!

In case you missed it, check out our collaborative video with the folks over at Half Face Blades from last weekend. In the reel we showcase a few of the manufacturing processes for their Bleeding Heart Hawk, a product that begins here in our HQ before being finished out in California with the HF guys. This is our first official media out of a long-running partnership with this incredibly successful pillar in the Knife industry and we could not be more thrilled to celebrate it publicly.

It bears mentioning as we approach the season of gifts, that we are offering Baker Forge gift cards for the Maker or Artist in your life. Perfect for that grumpy craftsmen that won’t tell you what to get him, these cards can be used for any product on the site, and they can save and wait for the PERFECT drop before hitting “BUY”. You can find them here

Inside the Media

Later today we have a real dime of a teaser for our Holiday promotions. Although they’re never particularly “thrilled” to act, the Baker Brothers, Jay & Coy did a fantastic job teasing the bulk of offerings we have planned in a quirky manner. Although these goofy videos are never a favorite for those acting, ya’ll always seem to love them, and we did this one for you. Stay tuned as it goes out around noon eastern today!

This week we dipped back into our video series asking the staff random questions from the internet. With such wide-ranging topics, you never truly know what to expect out of these videos but somehow Cole and the guys always find a way to make it HILARIOUS. During Blade Show we received an insane amount of feedback on these videos and all of it was overwhelmingly positive!

Sneak Peek 👀

Get ready for a splash this weekend! Our iconic Tsunami layout is making waves once more, now with a Diamond pattern that's set to dazzle. It's a mosaic bar with an 80CrV2 core, clad in a mesmerizing blend of 15N20/1084 Coppermascus, and highlighted with pure nickel shims. It's perfect for your next knife, jewelry piece, or any project that calls for standout material. Catch the wave early with the Baker App or at the usual drop time this Saturday at 8 PM EST.
