Boy, this week has been a scorcher up here in the Appalachian Mountains! We can’t complain too much about it, I know there’s more than a few of you who know how it is in a hot shop in the middle of summer. Regardless, we push on!
Early in the week our second Blanchard Grinder arrived. This addition helps us scale production a bit further. Since adding a finish-grind stage to each and every out-going billet we have received so much positive feedback, BUT it has also bottlenecked production just a bit. This new (to us), larger Blanchard will more than double out output and land us back on track as we grow! Check out our Reel from Tuesday across Baker socials to see the slightly laborious move-in of this BEAST.
With frequently visiting Master electrician, Obi, around for the next few days wiring up the
Blanchard, the shop guys busted-ass on a classic return layout for folks this weekend while Coy continued development on an innovative new billet coming down the pipe soon!
Our media team had the guys answering another random question this week; “Name your dream vehicle.” It certainly prompted some unique answers and provided a little “look” into the personalities of our wacky crew. If you missed it, find it on our socials!
It’s been one of those head-down hard working types of hot weeks, and we know y'all have been there or, maybe even, there with us now. So here’s to tomorrow’s beginning to the weekend, we’re gonna have a cold one for you!
👀 Sneak Peek 👀
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: ELITE AURORA-MAI
During an exciting Blade Show ATL last month we had more than a few folks ask about this CLASSIC layout. So, we brought it back! This BREATHTAKING billet is crafted with 1084 core and cladding, a copper and nickel shim AND 25 layer Damascus down the center. Our test blade by Jordon of JB Blades truly shows it off in the best light if you haven’t seen this unique pattern.
You never know when the Elite AuroraMai will be back around so grab YOURS on our website Saturday, 8pm EST OR grab yours with early access on the Baker App!
