Ah, winter! Cool temps are sweeping the nation and our little mountain town has been no different. We arrived at Baker HQ on Monday morning to find a fresh 6-8” of snow in the parking lot, which has seldom been WITHOUT snow over the last few weeks of inclement weather. Regardless, our production team relishes the cool air, as it keeps things moderate on the shop floor in the heat of a big run.
The Production Team hit the ground running this week with a custom order list a mile long. Our wholesale and custom orders have seriously gotten going over the first few weeks of 2025, and we only expect the demand to continue to rise. So, as a special note; Get your custom orders submitted ASAP to ensure your project is handled in a timely manner.

With custom orders in development, Jay and the guys also continued production on the weekend’s drop, adding some serious depth to the offerings with plenty of sizes and options available. You won’t want to miss this one!
As the week rolled on, Baker Boss Coy packed his bags for a trip to Nashville to attend the SCI (Safari Club International) Show. At the show Coy will spend time with the folks at King’s River Custom, who have several show pieces utilizing our materials. These shows have proven to be a growing way to connect with similar industry folks, and strike up new collaborations and dreams! As always, we look forward to what may come of the new friends.
With Coy in Nashville, our other resident Bakers, CFO, Bruce Baker, and Production Manager, Jay Baker packed up Thursday for a trip to Asheville where they represented our company and spoke at the “Mountain Rise” Event. Focusing on networking for local entrepreneurs, this event was a great example of the local groups and resources available that inspire future collaborations and connections and we couldn’t be more appreciative to be involved!

Inside the Media
Each Monday Waylon and I discuss a few potential topics for the Questionnaire that goes out regularly to kick off the social media week. This week’s was a bit of a toss in the dark and we were stoked to see it so broadly embraced. Although self-doxxing of exact locations isn’t our speed as a community, finding/knowing your relative neighbors, especially if they share in your interests is something that excites us. Seeing more than a few Makers realize their proximity to other Makers was certainly a highlight of the week. Thanks to all who hopped into the comments to participate! We’ll keep bringing the heat with these kick-off questions if ya’ll keep supplying us with hilarious and engaging comments.
Although the big guy isn’t exactly thrilled to be the center of attention, we convinced Baker Boss, Coy to allow us to throw another “Ask Me Anything” this week. Having posted an open invitation for questions of ANY theme on Monday, ya’ll certainly came through with some fantastic options. Part one already went up on Wednesday, but we have a GREAT part two lined up for Saturday that you won’t want to miss. Although Waylon and I wouldn’t feel comfortable revealing all the BTS details at Baker Forge, as CEO and Boss-Man, Coy reveals whatever he’d like and BOY, there are some great insights in these two pieces.
Our Tuesday reel featuring the raindrop patterning process was a real hit. We have a hard time knowing exactly what it is that makes some forge content go crazy while others flop, but we love showing you a bit more of our processes. This particular sequence sure picked up some steam, organically outperforming any content we’ve posted since the beginning of the year!
Sneak Peek
This weekend, we're bringing the cold with our IceStorm drop, coinciding with the nationwide winter weather. IceStorm will be available in the beloved Wavy, Raindrop, and Chevron patterns, but we're thrilled to introduce IceStorm in the Ripple pattern for the first time. IceStorm features the artful contrast of 25-layer Damascus steel and pure nickel over a solid 1084 core, offering both visual appeal and exceptional performance.
Early access is available on our Baker App, or catch the full release on Saturday at 8pm EST.
