Ah Friday, back again to greet us with warm weekend weather and plenty of spring chores to handle around the home. It was another productive week around Baker HQ with our fearless leader back in his normal position. Early Wednesday the entire staff jumped in for production of another round of Gator Piss. Something about those big group tasks bringing us all together really sets off the week inspiring good connections, jokes and hard work as a close team. With our Piss re-stock completed, the manufacturing team jumped headfirst into another exciting weekend drop! You may have seen Monday’s post regarding our search for another Blacksmith to join our team. Always a sign of quality growth, we are stoked to be looking for more help around the shop. So far we’ve been blessed with a tight team of really good folks and we hope to find the same in our latest member. If you are regionally based here in the Appalachian mountains and looking for work, we would love to hear from you! Send inquiries & info to info@bakerforge.com
Although only Baker CEO Coy and his lovely wife Hunter will be attending Blade Show Texas coming up NEXT weekend, we’re begun some serious preparations to host a booth at the following June show, the World Largest Knife Show, Blade Show Atlanta! With a show under our belts last year, we’re encouraged and excited to hit the ground running this year. Lots of great promotions, exciting collaborations, and even a few BRAND NEW products to release at the show, you won’t want to miss this!

However random, the HQ erupted with cheers when our Shop Manager, Jay Baker received his new license plate earlier this week. To all of our delight, he chose a vanity plate with the inscription “COPERMAI” as a reference to our long-time renown approach to the layout. As if it was hard to begin with, it certainly wont be hard to spot Jay out-and-about town from now on! If you’re local and see the “CopperMai” fly by, give the guy a honk!

Inside the Media

In only a few hours expect to see our Give-Away with Semplice Designs to drop. An exciting collaboration that has been in the work for months, this joint GAW was born out of a longtime friendship with well-known jewelry crafter, Mackenzie Palladino. Using our Mosaic Coppermascus, she created a STUNNING bolo tie perfectly suited for even the manliest of well-dressed Makers. With the combined value of this impressive mosaic one-off and the now renowned work of Semplice, we expect a rush to enter, so don’t miss out! You can find the GAW on our instagram here.

Sneak Peek 👀
This weekend, we’re unveiling the Volcanic River in a stunning Chevron pattern, a departure from its classic wavy past. This layout combines 1084 cladding with copper and nickel shims, all centered around our signature 100-layer damascus core, creating a breathtaking look that’s both familiar AND new. Whether you’re drawn to its vibrant shimmer or bold design, grab it early on the Baker App or join us for the full release on Saturday at 8pm EST.
